Sricity International University (SIU) is a Work-Study Dual Model Education System where students graduate with 2+ years of real-world experience. Curriculum is co-designed with help of Industry Partners and taught by a mix of Professors of Practice, Industry Partners and Regular Faculty. Internship is mandatory and integral to the curriculum. Students get paid a monthly stipend of ₹10,000+ during the internship period. SIU’s Work-Study program is intense, with an academic year of 46 weeks compared to 30 weeks at normal universities.

Yes. SIU is established under the Andhra Pradesh State Private Universities Act and complies with State, UGC and AICTE requirements. Degrees awarded are valid for higher studies, government jobs and private sector employment in India and abroad.
Students graduate with a degree and 2+ years of real-world experience. Internships are mandatory. Students receive stipends of ₹10,000+ per month. Curriculum is co-designed with industry partners. The academic year is 46 weeks compared to 30 weeks in traditional universities.
Industry Partners include manufacturing companies, product development firms, digital media companies and BPO organizations. They offer paid internships, help co-design curriculum and provide adjunct faculty.
Yes. At SIU, internships are mandatory for all programs of study.
Many internships are at Sri City-based industries and companies, but opportunities also exist in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Students interning at Sri City-based industries continue staying in SIU hostels. Outstation interns stay in nearby hostels or shared accommodations arranged through SIU partnerships.
SIU is a new greenfield university starting from the 2026-27 academic year with a founding batch of 300 students across four programs.

Block teaching is a pedagogy where students study one subject intensively at a time instead of multiple subjects simultaneously across a semester.
Block teaching allows students to focus deeply on one subject, improve retention, spend more time on projects and receive faster feedback.
No. Total teaching and assessment hours remain the same. The difference is that learning is concentrated into shorter, more focused periods.
Assessment is continuous and competency-based. Each block includes assignments, lab work, projects, presentations, quizzes and a final assessment. Students receive feedback throughout the block and can improve continuously.
Faculty office hours, peer-learning groups and academic mentors are built into the model. Support is provided within the same block through remediation pathways and reassessment opportunities.
Yes. Students often find they have more time for clubs, sports, internships and personal projects because they are not juggling multiple subjects simultaneously.

Yes. Every student is assigned a faculty mentor. Faculty office hours are part of the weekly schedule and students receive personalized guidance.
The B.Tech tuition fee for Computer Science & Engineering is Rs. 3.6 lakhs per year and Manufacturing Engineering is Rs. 2.8 lakhs per year. This covers tuition, lab usage, learning materials, library access, and all standard academic services.
The BBA tuition fee is ₹2.4 lakhs per year. This includes tuition, learning materials, library access, simulations and standard academic services.
The hostel fee is ₹1.2 lakhs per year on a twin-sharing basis. It includes accommodation, food, electricity, Wi-Fi and washing facilities.
For a residential B.Tech student, the all-in annual cost is Rs. 4.8 lakhs (Rs. 3.6 lakhs tuition + Rs. 1.2 lakhs hostel) for Computer Science & Engineering and Rs. 4.0 lakhs (Rs. 2.8 lakhs tuition + Rs. 1.2 lakhs hostel) for Manufacturing Engineering. For a residential BBA student, it is Rs. 3.6 lakhs (Rs. 2.4 lakhs tuition + Rs. 1.2 lakhs hostel). Day scholars pay only the tuition portion. These figures may be reduced significantly through scholarships.
There are no hidden charges. A one-time admission and registration fee and a refundable security deposit apply and are clearly disclosed.

Yes. SIU offers scholarships of up to 75% of tuition fees to support deserving students from diverse backgrounds.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, entrance test performance, EWS status, sports excellence, girl-child encouragement and outstanding co-curricular achievements.
There is no separate scholarship application. Every applicant is automatically considered during the admissions process.

Placement support includes career counselling, CV workshops, mock interviews, internship-to-job pipelines and live industry engagement. SIU works with both Sri City companies and external recruiters to create employment opportunities.

Students without Mathematics in Class 12 can apply for BBA programs. Mathematics is required only for B.Tech programs.
SIU does not conduct a separate entrance examination. Admissions are based on academic performance and accepted entrance examinations such as JEE Main, CUET and EAPCET where applicable.
SIU accepts students from all recognized boards including CBSE, ICSE, State Boards across India and recognized international boards.

SIU does not offer placement guarantees. Instead, the model is designed around extensive internships and industry engagement so that students graduate with significant work experience and professional connections.
SIU is located within the integrated Sri City township where most daily movement occurs on foot or through campus transport. The township is well connected to Chennai, Tirupati and Nellore, and transportation assistance is available for station and airport transfers.
