Sricity International University is backed by a distinguished and diverse group of philanthropists, technocrats, and entrepreneurs who have built successful enterprises in India and the United States. Many of them have played a pivotal role in shaping India’s new generation of leading universities and educational institutions. The University’s founding community brings together rich academic and professional experience, with educational backgrounds from some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, including Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon University, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), and several other renowned universities.
Sricity Education Foundation, a not-for-profit Section 8 company, serves as the sponsoring body of Sricity International University. Established with a commitment to advancing excellence in higher education, the Foundation seeks to foster an environment of innovation, academic rigor, and societal impact, empowering students to become globally competent professionals and responsible leaders.
The Bharat Employability & Jobs Challenge
India produces more than 9 Million graduates every year. Only about 42.6% of the graduates who apply for jobs are assessed as employable (57.4% are not employable?)[1] , over half of those who do find work are in roles below their qualification, [2] and more than 80% of employers report serious skill gaps in the people they hire.[3]
The shortfall is not one of numbers or ambition — it is one of relevance. Curricula struggle to keep pace with industry, most programmes offer little or no real exposure to the world of work, and too few teachers bring current industry experience into the classroom.

Work-Study
Dual Model
At the centre of SIU Curriculum is a Work-Study Dual Model. The students spend about 35% of their time on campus and 65% of their time in Internship as interns at Industry Partners. Before beginning their Internship the students are equipped with skills required to perform the job at the Industry Partner. While at Internship the Students work along with the Industry Partner’s employees as part of their team. employees as part of their team.
The Curriculum is Co-designed with Industry, which keeps what a student learns aligned with what Industry actually needs — so graduates are ready to contribute from their first day at work.
Internship is Integral to the Curriculum. A student who completes a four-year degree will have 2+ years of real work experience — the kind of head start that usually takes years to earn after graduation.
Life Skills
At SIU, students cultivate essential Life Skills that prepare them for lifelong success. They develop the ability to Learn How to Learn, strengthen their Problem-Solving and Communication Skills, and imbibe the values of Discipline, Perseverance, and Hard Work through immersive Industry Internship Experiences. These real-world engagements enable students to grow into Confident, Adaptable, and Resilient Professionals, ready to excel in an ever-evolving global landscape.
Cost of Education
Students begin earning a monthly Internship Stipend of at least ₹10,000 from their very first year, with the amount increasing progressively as they advance through the program. Over the course of their degree, these earnings help offset a substantial portion of the cost of education, reducing the financial burden on families while enabling students to gain valuable industry experience and build their careers from the outset
AI in Everything
At SIU, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is seamlessly integrated into Teaching and Learning from Day One. Students do not study AI as a separate subject on the sidelines; instead, they learn to think, create, and solve problems with AI as an integral part of their academic journey. By embedding AI into everyday learning, SIU equips students with the skills, mindset, and adaptability required to thrive in a future where working alongside intelligent technologies will be the norm rather than the exception.
Entrepreneurship
With a vision to nurture the NextGen of Entrepreneurs, SIU has established a vibrant startup ecosystem anchored by its business incubator, Station-S, and a venture capital arm, Gnan Circle Ventures, a SEBI Category-I Alternative Investment Fund. Demonstrating its strong commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship, Station-S commenced operations in 2025, even before the launch of SIU’s first batch of undergraduate and graduate programs. Within a short span, the incubator has already supported the incubation of more than 10 startups, many of which have successfully launched their business operations, creating an ecosystem where ideas are transformed into impactful ventures.
