Admission Process
Sricity International University (SIU) is committed to selecting students through a transparent, equitable and merit-based admission process. The University offers admissions to B.Tech and BBA programs for the academic year 2026-27 through a well-defined multi-stream framework. All admissions are governed by the guidelines set forth by the Admission Committee of Sricity International University, whose decisions shall be final and binding.

Merit Determination
Final Merit Score = 50% weightage to JEE Main percentile + 50% weightage to Board marks
Board marks obtained from different education boards are normalized to ensure fairness and uniformity in evaluation across all applicants. The normalisation process is carried out by considering the highest aggregate marks secured by an applicant from each respective board as the benchmark score (100). The normalised score of every other candidate from the same board is then calculated proportionately using the formula:
Normalised Score = (Candidate’s Aggregate Marks ÷ Highest Aggregate Marks in the Same Board) × 100
Tie-Breaking Rules
In case of equal merit scores:
- Candidates with higher JEE Main percentile shall be given preference
- If the tie still persists, higher Board aggregate marks shall be considered
- If Board marks are also equal, higher marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC aggregate) shall be considered
- If the tie still persists, the candidate with earlier date of birth (older age) shall be given preference
Note:In case sufficient candidates meeting the JEE cut-off are not available, the seats shall be filled based on merit derived from Class 12 / Intermediate Board marks.

Fellowship Seats are awarded to meritorious students who qualify through a University-administered fellowship test and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Supported by the University’s patrons and benefactors, these fellowships provide partial or full tuition fee to help deserving students pursue their education.
Stream 4 — Industry Partner Sponsored Seats
These are seats under which an industry partner sponsors a portion or the entire tuition fee payable to the university and offers an internship to the student, thereby supporting both the student’s education and professional development.
Note: Vacant seats arising from no-shows(locked in admission but didn’t join) or withdrawals after joining under All Streams, may be filled based on the merit in the Qualifying Examination (Class 12 / Intermediate Board marks / HSC ).
