The Foundation Phase of the B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering is supported by purpose-built laboratories and workshops on the SIU campus. Together they cover the full range of design, fabrication and measurement activity that the Foundation curriculum demands. Facilities are sized for the cohort and specified to support hands-on learning from the first week of the program.
